All classes will get the essay prompt for their final exam today. The students must brainstorm ideas, write the first draft, and edit the first draft before the exam. Students are encouraged to have parents read over the first draft. Two sheets of paper, the brainstorming page and the first draft page, will be brought to the exam. These two assignments will be graded as part of the final exam. Students will use the edited first draft to write the final draft of the essay during the exam time.
All classes will use today to get started on both portions of the essay.
Homework: Finish brainstorming, writing, and editing!
